Eligibility For Admission

  • BSc Computer Science
    Candidates who have passed (eligible higher studies) the HSE or an equivalent examination with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Application, etc. as one of the subjects are eligible for admission.
  • BSc information Technology
    The eligibility for admission to BSc., information Technology is a pass (eligible for higher studies) in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 27GPV, with Mathematics as one of the papers. A concession of 4 GPV will give to OBC / OEC candidates. The SC/ST candidates need get only a pass (eligible for higher studies)
  • BSc Electronics
    Students who have studied Electronics / Physics / Mathematics as one of the optional subjects at Higher Secondary Examination level and passed (eligible for higher studies) are eligible for admission.
  • BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application)
    Candidates who have passed (eligible for higher studies) the HSE or an equivalent examination with Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Practices as one of the subjects are eligible for admission to the BCA course.
  • BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
    Any candidate who have passed (eligible for higher studies) the Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with not less than 27 G PV is eligible for admission to the BBA degree. A concession of 3 GPV will be given to OBC / OEC candidates. The SC/ST candidates need get only a pass (eligible for higher studies).
  • B.Com (Bachelor of commerce with CA)
    A pass (eligible for higher studies) in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent, with a least one commerce subject, is eligible for admission to the B.Com degree course. Candidates who have not taken at least one commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination should get at least 25 GPV (in 6 subjects) in that examination to become seek admission to B.Com course. A concession of 3GPV will be given to OBC/OEC candidates. The SC/ST candidates need get only a pass (eligible for higher studies)
  • B.Sc Mathematics
    Candidates who have passed (eligible higher studies) the HSE or an equivalent examination with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Application, etc. as one of the subjects are eligible for admission.
  • M.Com
    Any candidate who have passed B.Com or equivalent is eligible for admission to M.Com PG degree

Mode of Selection
Selection of candidates for admission is made in accordance with the existing university rules and Government Regulations.

Eligibility Certificate
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examinations from the University / Boards outside the State Kerala shall furnish along with the application a copy of the eligibility certificate obtained from the Calicut University.

Application Form
Application form together with the copy of prospectus can be had from the college / N.S. Tower, Palakkad on all working days on payment of Rs. 100/- either directly or by post against a DD for Rs. 130/- in favor of The Principal, VV College of Science and Technology, Chullimada, Kanjikode PO, Palakkad-678621. Payable at SBT, Walayar. The application form duly filled in must reach the principal on or before the last date along with the copies of the certificate.

Interview
Candidates provisionally selected for admission will be required to appear for an interview before the Principal on a specified date and time. Those who fail to turn up for the interview are likely to forfeit the chance of admission. No interview will be held unless his / her parent or guardian accompanies the candidates
The following documents in original should be produced at the time of interview.

  1. S.S.L.C. Book.
  2. Marklist of the qualifying examination.
  3. Transfer Certificate, Course and conduct certificate from the institution last attended.
  4. Eligibility Certificate from the Calicut University by candidates who studied out side Kerala State.
  5. FourStamp size photographs of the candidate.

Migration Certificate:
A student admitted to the College from other University should produce Migration Certificate atthe earliest.
NB: The selected candidates should submit at the time of admission a declaration of willingness to observe discipline in the College as well as agreement,

  1. Not to destroy the properties of the College.
  2. Anti ragging statement duly signed by the student and parent.

If any damage is caused, the cost of restoration is recoverable from the student responsible for it and if any student is involved in ragging, severe action will be taken as per rules University and Govt.

The Principal shall decide any other details not specially covered in this prospectus and such decision will be final.
